New Course in Applied Field Work

Institute of Social Sciences (ISS) is offering a course in Applied Fieldwork. Seven students have been selected for inaugural batch, which commences from 4 September 2006. This innovative course is part of the MoU between ISS and Centre for East and South- East Asian Studies (CESEAS), Lund University, Lund, Sweden. The course syllabus recognized by the CESEAS Board of Education will prepare the students for Masters Programme in Asian Studies/ South Asian Studies Track to carry out fieldwork

The first batch includes students from Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom.
