ANS Hall — A Smart, Flexible Space for Meetings, Training & Conferences

Located at the Institute of Social Sciences, ANS Hall is a modern, digitally enabled conference and training facility designed for conferences, workshops, training programmes, seminars, consultations, meetings and hybrid events.
Spread across approximately 1,000 sq. ft., ANS Hall offers a comfortable and flexible setting equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual technology. Its 85-inch digital screen is complemented by four additional 55-inch screens strategically positioned along the other walls, ensuring excellent visibility for participants throughout the hall.
The hall features an integrated AV system supported by Apple, Samsung and Bose equipment, providing excellent sound and display quality for both in-person and online programmes. Its dedicated high-speed internet connectivity enables uninterrupted virtual participation, online presentations, webinars and live relays.
While the hall has a comfortable seating capacity of around 100 participants, its flexible layout can accommodate up to 120 people when required. At the same time, its design makes it equally suitable for small meetings and close-knit group discussions.
A major advantage of ANS Hall is its convenient setting within the ISS campus. The hall has direct access to the campus canteen, lawns on both sides, restrooms and open spaces, allowing organizers and participants to move easily between formal sessions, refreshments and informal interactions. Whether you are organizing a two-hour meeting, a full-day training programme, a workshop, a conference or a hybrid event, ANS Hall offers the technology, flexibility and institutional environment to make the programme run smoothly.

Board Room — Smart, Connected and Designed for Focused Meetings
The ISS Board Room is a professionally equipped, technology-enabled meeting space designed for small group meetings, consultations, presentations and hybrid discussions, whether conducted entirely in person or with participants joining virtually.
Spread across above 300 sq. ft., the Board Room can comfortably accommodate up to 25 participants. Its integrated audio-visual system is centred around a 65-inch high- definition display, supported by a voice-sensitive automatic camera and dedicated high-speed internet connectivity, enabling smooth and uninterrupted online meetings and virtual participation.
The room's high-sensitivity, built-in microphone system is designed to capture voices clearly from across the meeting space, ensuring that participants can be heard without having to lean towards or speak directly into individual microphones. The system is sufficiently sensitive to pick up even soft-spoken contributions from different corners of the room, creating a natural and seamless experience for both in-room and remote participants.
With its combination of compact design, professional AV infrastructure, reliable connectivity and comfortable seating, the ISS Board Room provides an ideal setting for focused meetings, consultations, interviews, small-group deliberations and online-offline hybrid engagements.
Canteen — Convenient and Flexible Dining
The ISS Canteen has been an integral part of the Institute for several decades, regularly serving fresh tea, coffee, snacks and meals to ISS staff, guests, programme participants and visitors.
Located conveniently within the campus, it provides a relaxed space for participants to refresh, dine and interact informally alongside their formal programmes.
Hygiene, cleanliness and food quality are given particular importance at the Institute. The canteen routinely caters to participants attending workshops, conferences, training programmes and meetings held at ANS Hall, making it possible for organizers to arrange refreshments and meals conveniently within the campus.
The canteen offers considerable flexibility in menu planning. Organizers may select the menu according to the nature, duration and requirements of their programme. Depending on the quantity, variety and type of food required, meals can either be prepared within the canteen or arranged through external caterers.
The dining area covers approximately 700 sq. ft., with additional open spaces where participants can enjoy tea, coffee and meals in a more informal and relaxed setting. This combination of indoor and outdoor spaces makes the canteen particularly suitable for conferences, workshops and other events involving extended interaction among participants.
