Organised on the Occasion of the National Panchayati Raj Day Week Celebration 30 April 2026 at Shanta Memorial Rehabilitation Conference Hall, Jayadev Vihar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
A state-level workshop and interaction programme on the theme “Challenges Faced by Women in the
Panchayati Raj System, Holistic Development and Panchayats” was organised on 30 April 2026 at the Sansristi Conference Hall, Maitree Vihar, Bhubaneswar, as part of the National Panchayati Raj Day Week Celebration. The programme was jointly organised by Gabeshana Chakra, Sansristi, Institute of Social Sciences (ISS) and Panchayat Vikash Parishad with the objective of creating a platform for dialogue on women’s leadership in Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), grassroots democracy, decentralised governance, and inclusive rural development.
